Kate Lloyd
The metal blade at the front of a Gondola is called a Ferro (strictly translates as iron). To me the collection of these boats is highly impactful and the glory of the golden, glowing metal shines out in relative darkness as the evening draws in. The boats are parked overnight in a particular canal basin, which provides the opportunity for fascinating abstract imagery.
The print measures 63cm x 81cm, inc mat surround.
