Kate Lloyd
This little trio of yellow huts caught my eye in Iceland as they seemed to shine out a welcome into the snow. Even in black and white they seem so warm and welcoming.
Their aspect is so typical of Iceland with the corrugated iron cladding, so essential in areas where the wind speeds can get up to 120 mph, stripping paint off vehicles and buildings.
And yet despite the corrugated iron, they look friendly – indeed Hygge.
The image measures 28cm x 40cm. Including its mat surround, it measures 36cm x 44cm.
